Thanx 03

Well, my 2 years finished with Japanese as expected.

March 20, the departure eve.

Other volunteers helf a farewell party for our group of 12 people (2 of us stay 1-2 months more).

They gave us a had with burkinabe flag design as gift.

I did not come to Ouaga so often and even when I came, I didn't realy stay at volutneer dormitory so I could not talk with many volunteers... (regtret...)

But when I saw so many people came for us, I realized that our group was so appreciated by them.

Our group term was

"family of 12 members"

I was really happy to be part of the family.

everyone was different.

That's why it was nice.

I learned so much from them.

Thank you.

Half of the family was women.

I thank especially the two in bobo :

Sister Nama and bro, Katsuo.

Thank you so much!

We should keep this link (meeting).

We shared these special 2 years together.

Equal rights, Equal opportunities : Progress for all

This is a very rational (ideal) term but very difficult to make it true...

This is the special textile of the day this year in Burkina.↓

It suits on her very well, doesn't it ???

Like last year, there was a party at YANTA center.

When I arrived there, the women were already at the peak of the heat !

I was exhausted of the day before home party at my place so I did not have enough energy and courage to join them.

I watched from the side and encouraged them to dance harder !

In the middle of such exciting time, they made a short time for me.

The president of YANTA, Madame Drabo gave me grateful words.

They also gave me a handmade traditional textile from Sanoufo ethnic group.

If I had not met YANTA,

If YANTA's ladies had not welcomed me so warmly, how it would have been my 2 years ?

I was very touched.

Next day, I went to visit the area where I used to go most often for my compost activity.

I brought them some photos that I had taken there to thank their interest and hard word for composting.

If they did not have so much motivation and patience, my 2 years would not be like this.

In this area, kids always gave me innocent smiles and called me with my name but not with the word for white person (foreigner) "Tubabou".

I tired to pass there at least once a week.

Visit there was a part of my life in bobo.

I will never forget here and these people.

Until the area gets tap water and electricity at home,

well even after the land adjustment, I will come over here.

Thank you so much for sharing your love with me !

Finally my 2 year volunteer has been done.

2 days before my departure to Ouaga, I invited at home my colleagues of environmental office who let me do whatever I wanted and people from luxembourg project who helped me a lot to progress my activities.

Menu : Curry, Okonomiyaki, Seaweed salad, green veggie salad, Yakisoba (grilled noodles)

At the end of my contract, I had been pretty busy for work, packing and fun...

And on this day...

I was not feeling good from the morning…

Fever, stomachache, headache, nausea...

But I had to cook for 20-30 people invited !!!

Fortunately several friends helped me to prepare food, drinks, music, tables and chairs so I could set all up on time !

I could not have much conversation with each because of the preparation and serving people,

but at least they seemed enjoyed the food.

So it's good.

These 2 years have been great thanks to their support.

Provincial director of the environmental office and luxembourg project chief advisor

Colleagues of the provincial office

my "tonton" (sort of uncle) and best friend in Bobo

I really appreciate all of you !

Thank you so much !!!
